Summer is the season of sun, sea and beach, as well as barbecues, garden parties and summer weddings. Putting together the perfect summer outfit can be challenging, especially since your outfit must not only be stylish, but also appropriate for the occasion and comfortable in the warm weather. Here are some tips to help you create the ideal summer look, no matter the occasion 🙂
- Choose airy fabrics: Materials such as cotton, linen and silk are perfect for summer because they are breathable and lightweight.

1. Day at the beach

- Cover-up: A breezy kaftan or sarong is perfect to wear over your swimwear. It offers protection from the sun and you can move around easily in it.
- Accessories: Don't forget to wear a statement hat or cap. And, of course, sunglasses for extra protection from the sun. A large beach bag and comfortable sandals or flip-flops will complete your look.
2. City exploring
For a day of sightseeing, you want to look stylish but also be able to walk comfortably and be out and about all day.
- Supple dress or jumpsuit: Choose a breezy dress or a trendy jumpsuit in a cheerful print or solid color. Cotton and linen are ideal fabrics for hot days.
- Comfy shoes: Sandals with a good footbed or fashionable sneakers allow you to walk all day without sore feet.
- Accessories: A crossbody bag is convenient and safe for your essentials.

- Travel fabric: Wear breathable and moisture-wicking clothing. Items made from travel fabric are perfect for this! For example, a fine tee paired with bermuda shorts. Travel fabric is a combination of elastane and polyamide. Elastane, as the word says, has great elasticity. Polyamide is a textile fiber that is extremely dimensionally stable. This combination ensures that the garment is incredibly comfortable due to its stretchability and also always stays in good shape no matter what you do with it.
- Shoes: Choose sturdy, supportive (sports) shoes that are appropriate for the activity. Fortunately, sporty sneakers are the trend of the moment. That way you'll get around town both comfortably and stylishly.

4. Sunny summer wedding
For a summer wedding, you want to look elegant without overheating. Opt for sophisticated, breathable materials and elegant silhouettes.
- Colorful dress: A dress in a solid pop of color is always an elegant choice! Go for a breathable fabric so you can just wear an item with longer sleeves, for example.
- Midi or maxi dress: Choose a midi or maxi dress in a flowing fabric. In a beautiful wide fit, which can be worn fitted thanks to a matching belt. Swap out the matching belt if necessary for a more shiny element.
- Accessories: Pair your outfit with fine jewelry, a clutch and stylish slippers or heels. Don't forget a light stole or scarf for the evening.
